KISMET Lore dump: The Ordana's existing hierarchy originated from the structural reforms put in place by the Divine a century ago. With the Divine acting as the Ordana's leader, the previously fragmented organization flourished under the directed guidance of a unified administration. Seeking to preserve this prosperity, the Ordana harvested enough genetic material from the Divine to create several clones of her to act as the church's leadership after her death.  Despite colloquial belief in the Divine's status as a demigod, the actual woman was, in fact, simply a regular human (with the noted drawback of having a regular human lifespan).
