KISMET Lore dump: While a large majority of the population in the Perseus system cannot physically detect the presence of mana in the environment, Adepts (regardless of their casting ability) are all able to sense the ebb and flow of the mana currents in their surroundings.  Though the sensation is mostly harmless, adepts have occasionally described feeling discomfort in the presence of a very strong mana current.
